Texas Safety Inspection: Follow-up

Barry, Sharon & Ross, After some anxious moments with the Department of Public Safety the LD was given a passing grade. Your input helped (names withheld to protect the innocent) influenced the inspector to seek advice from their attorney and others at headquarters.

It seems that the requirement for illuminated side amber markers is not specified for a Class C motorhome over 80 inches wide and less than 30 feet in length. The amber side light in the headlight assembly is sufficient.

Hears hoping ya'll all have happy inspections.
