We are hopeful one will turn up closer to us. But we are keeping our options open, in case something changes and makes travel possible. We are also checking with airlines to see if she could occupy a seat in a crate, if we paid for her seat as well as ours, and with the vet to see if he thinks she might be okay with that. We are not terribly silly dog people, we have just had her for 14 years and she gets to live out her final years in happy, unstressful circumstances, we owe her that. Thanks, tho. Aetna

We became RVers (and bought a LD as our first RV) because we had 2 elderly dogs whom we did not want to risk boarding (or being apart from) when we travelled. As a result, we found a wonderful lifestyle and this fabulous group! Our elderly dogs have since passed across Rainbow Bridge, but not before they got to experience much of this great country. Our 3 young (all rescue) dogs follow

The 14-yr-old got three great trips this summer, and as of this a.m., she's playing frisbee as she used to, only doing it with my dad

Where in Lake Tahoe are you? We are in Incline Village. Aetna-text portions of this message have been removed]
