Yes, Verna, many of us have and it works nearly perfectly.  I have Dish satellite TV service at home and have 3 receivers.  I take one receiver on the road and once you have accessed the satellite a couple of times, you get the hang of it and it becomes quite easy.
I have a 2002 30' so there is a factory built-in sat. receiver cabinet as standard equipment.  I also placed a DVD player in the same compartment and run it through the audio in/out jacks on the front of my Panasonic 20" TV.  Works great.  No person should be without all the gizmos!
Most would agree that the extra money for a fully automatic sat dish (is it about $500 more?) is not worth the extra money.  Buy an extra solar panel instead.

Verna, we did.  It works just fine, but can be affected by high winds.
However, that would *probably* be true of the automatic system they install, too, since it is also a crank up, not a dome.
