2005/2006 E-450 Class C Chassis

FYI, Just got off the phone with LD, seems like the web-site isn't up-to date. It is my understanding that a 2006 26.5 MB cost is "a couple of thousand dollars higher." The only explanation I got was they are no longer using the 2005 E-450 Chassis, just the 2006 E-450 models.
I was told that these chassis are identical except for some "instrumentation enhancements." I was also looking for recent information about what to expect when we fly down to the showroom. What was your experience like? Thanks, Jim Pappas Tacoma, WA

We were there two weeks ago and the display models were still 2005.
They do not have the new Ford redesigned doghouses that the 2006 chassis have, but according to Ed, the rigs themselves are unchanged for 2006.

Relax, take your time - there are no salesmen in the traditional form. The old gentleman who will likely help you is well informed, albeit highly opinionated.  Some people warm up to him immediately, others (like me) take more than one visit to get past personalities and concentrate on the product itself, which is IMHO far superior to competition costing as much as $35,000 higher out the door.

Thanks to all that responded. I found a "local," who e-mailed us and was gracious enough to have us come by this week and pick his brain, and look at his LD! What a nice group of folks.
