Honda CR-V they recommend recirculating the tran fluid every 8Quotetowing hours." It is basically just running the engine in drive for a few minutes, to circulate the oil in the transmission. Then you put it in neutral and turn off the key in the ACC poition and go. For most of us, that is a once a day, just before you leave, task. I haven't driven 8 hours in a day for many years.Chris Hunter

Honda's instructions for the CRV are pretty specific: Make sure radio, A/C, etc. are turned off Press brake Go (slowly) through all the gears Leave in N for 3 minutes Put in ACCWe've been towing for about two years with no problems.Anne Sunny, HOT, La Verne, CA

The above is very misleading because it wasn't ME that said it is basically just running the engine.... ! MY comment was something along the lines that the procedure for towing 4-down should be explained in your Owner's Manual.Linda Hylton2004 Red 23.5' TKFrom Little Crater Campground Newberry NVMSee where we are: http://map.datastormusers.com/user2.cfm?user=1167
