Glad you are pleased with the new lamps. I sure like mine, so much better than the old things.

Chris and Steve, I also like these new reading  lamps, but have yet to figure why they gave me three screws each for lamps with four screw holes each! It didn't matter since I used some screws that were a bit longer, as Steve recommended.
I'm heading out next weekend for a dog show and will get my first chance to try them out for real reading in bed! Doris

Doris,

For some reason, my search of the Messages db does not give me the original messages about these lamps. Can you give me a link? I did find West Marine, but which lamps are we talking about? And how are they wired in? Sorry... I know this has been covered before, just can't find it. Did someone post pics of these installed?

David

Take a look at my message #56853. Think that will answer your questions.

David,
The lights we have been discussing, and that Steve gave you the info on, are very easy to install, and give a very nice directed light. I looked at a number of berth lights, but most had a base plate that was too small to cover the screw holes from the existing lights. These lights just make it. If you decide that you want these lights, look at
www.couponcabin.com for discounts on West Marine purchases.
