August 21, 2005, 01:28:43 am Yahoo Message Number: 57078It's been a while, I had started my cross country trip in L.A. and went to San Diego for July 4th...through Glamis on to Prestcott-Jerome- Sedona-Flagstaff-the Grand Canyon-through Winslow north through the Navajo Nation to the Brazos pass and El Vado lake to Taos...Santa Fe- through Amarillo, which smelled like manure and beef jerky, Okl. City south -Dallas-Waco-Austin-Galveston-took the ferry with Murphy, the 1981 22ft. rl with my dog across to the Bolivar peninsula to New Orleans-Biloxi-Montgomery-Atlanta, saw the Braves destroy the Dodgers, through to Charleston from where I'll take the coast to wherever I decide's next. Running pretty darn good for an '81, it's slow with a 350 and my a/c just broke, but I'm fixing it Monday...a few new tires, a new fan clutch...lots of gas and a little oil burned later and I'm about 4000 miles in... From experience I can tell you to make certain the new fan clutch is the heaviest-duty model. Others will fail in short order.Steve
