What is the most you'd pay for a '94 MB?

The coach we're considering has 46k miles and a Banks system.  Low gen use (12 hrs) and has lived in a garage it's whole life.  The owners are meticulous and the unit, (from their description and photos) looks new.  However, it *is* almost 12 years old now.  I have little concern about the coach but some regarding a '94 E350 chassis just because of its age.

I have reviewed the info in the files section and it leads me to believe he's asking a premium price.  While any deal is what a buyer and seller agree to, I wonder if any of you more experienced folks could give me some perspective.

The unit is otherwise exactly what we want (assuming the bunk and dinette measurements are adequate).  It's just hard to consider spending $30.5k for a unit of this vintage.

Chris,
 I'd be concerned that the 12 hrs is to low!  The generator needs to be run every month to prevent varnish from forming in the carburetor.  Just running the generator 20 minutes a month is 4 hours a year.  The unit is 11 years old.  Do the math! :)

I echo the sentiment that 12 hours is much too low for a generator.
 According to our Onan Operator's Manual, it says "Exercise the genset at least 2 hours each month ... at approximately 1/2 rated power (in other words, under load).  Exercising ... drives off moisture, re-lubricates the engine, replaces stale fuel in fuel lines and carburetor and removes oxides from electrical contacts and ... slip rings."  Obviously, this generator hasn't been operated according to instructions, and makes me wonder if, in all those 11 years, they even bothered to change the oil.
 That doesn't mean you shouldn't buy this rig, but when you're having the motorhome checked out prior to purchase, be sure the mechanic thoroughly checks out the generator for proper operation, and be prepared to put some money into it.

 The Owner's Manual says not to crank it for more than 10 seconds.  If it doesn't start by then, give it a rest and try again.  We've always been able to start ours on the first go around, and it idles smoothly right away.  Of course, we don't turn any heavy-duty appliances on (microwave/air conditioner) until it's been on for several minutes, allowing it time to warm up.

Two years ago yours was only eight years old.  The one we're looking at is almost 12 years old (from a model year POV). Of course it depends on miles, condition, and options too.  I'm still conflicted is all ;o)
