After spending the last 3 weeks in our 2002 30', we realized the stock lamps are not the best - even with one bulb removed and a 3x5 note card tucked in to shield the bright light.

Was installation easy?  Anything to look out for?

Chris, I ordered the lights that Steve recommended, as they were just what I was looking for, and many others did not have a base large enough to cover the holes from the existing lamps on the LD. I also found discount coupons for West Marine on the web. You might want to look at

Doris, thanks for your affirmation.   I ordered the lights this morning and just went back and found the discount code and called the customer svc rep who gave me a 15% discount.   So, many thanks for that and if our paths cross, I owe you lunch!  And yes, the shipping was free.
