2003 26.5 MB for sale in North Carolina

Well Folks,
I've owned a '92 MB and now a 2003 MB.  I bet I looked at all of the Class Cs out there.  I visited the factory last year.  I wanted to buy a new one but couldn't stand the wait nor the time it would take me to get it home.

So, I bought a 2003 from the original owner in Virginia when his wife decided they were going to move up to Class A for wintering in Florida.

I love the LD.  My wife likes the quality but wants a bigger livng area like our neighbor's 31 foot camper.  She also is in the process of getting a horse (again) and needs to tow a horse trailer.

We are going to buy a big truck, a fifth wheel horse trailer and a fifth wheel camper.  I know ... I know ... there is probably no 5th wheel with LD quality.  I lose the convenience of just hopping in the back whenever I want.  Well, until I retire one day, all I have time for is short trips and camping at the local state park.  The 5th wheel makes more sense for us at this juncture.

All of this should be good news for some East Coast family that wants the highest quality, best floorplan Class C on the market!

She's perfect!

Take a look at New Horizons 5th wheel models. They are of very high quality, and offer many floorplans and options.

New Horizons the company is similar to LD in size, with a similar annual production, selling factory direct.  But unlike LD, New Horizons offers the customer almost unlimited choice.  Their 5th wheels are available in more than 40 floor plans, in lengths from 24 to 41 feet, with a wide range of options and decor.  New Horizons proves you don't have to limit a customer's choices to keep costs down.

You will need a medium-duty truck to pull a BIG 5th wheel safely. There's an Escapees forum for information about big tow vehicles from Volvo, Freightliner and International, as well as the more pedestrian Fords and Chevys.

Actually, Jeff, there is -- New Horizons.  See www.horizonsrv.com .
We had a New Horizons fifth wheel when we were fulltime RVers.  The quality of the New Horizons is the reason we decided on the Lazy Daze when we decided to get a Class C.  Like Lazy Daze, New Horizons are factory direct.
Unlike Lazy Daze, however, these are custom units -- you design exactly what you want.
