Wanting to look at a LD in Portland, OR area August 03, 2005, 04:48:19 pm Yahoo Message Number: 56428Hi Folks,Is there anyone out there who would be willing to let my husband and me look at their LD? We have been doing a lot of reading and researching, and our son stopped in at the factory and took some pictures for us, but of course it's not quite the same as getting to go inside one. We rented a Class C "off-brand" last weekend and it rode like a buckboard and made all kinds of racket, and it was a new one! Thanks, twodrifters

Thanks, twodrifters We almost stopped looking at RV's because of a similar experience. Early on, we thought that we might rent a Class C for a few days since we had no rv'ing experience. We took a short test drive in one offered by a local branch of a well-known nationally-advertised company. What a piece of crap! It was filthy, and on the test drive it pitched, swayed, rattled and banged, and scared our dog so much it took the rest of the day to get him settled. Our Lazy Daze, by comparison, is quiet on the road, rides and handles beautifully, and I have a lot less "road fatigue" at the end of a long driving day than with any other vehicle that I've driven in the past several years. And our dog loves it and lives for the next road trip. I mention this because I don't want any prospective buyers to be put off by a bad rental experience or test drive. Will

Carol +++++++++++ Thanks very much for your offer. I'll save your email in case we are able to get down that way. I really like the way the floor plan looks. We would need to convert the queen to 2 twins, and I'm guessing there's a water heater or something under the island bed? Anyway, thanks again. twodrifters[Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

The support under the queen bed is part of the structure of the unit and allows for holding tanks, etc.If you have questions about the floorplans and options, be sure to check this group's "Files" section, as well as the Lazy Daze web site.Sharon N.

Good luck on your search. Carol[Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
