memory foam mattress toppers on sale at Costco

Hi everyone,
 FYI: The Novaform memory foam mattress toppers are on sale at Costco until the end of this month ($30 off for a king size = $105)  They are an ideal solution to soften the stock cushions in the LD when used as a bed.  We have been using the full version for the last year and loved it, but we needed more space, so we just upgraded to a larger size.
 If you have a Mid-bath and use the entire rear for sleeping, the Cal- King size fits well and covers the entire area.  When not using it, we fold it up and use two large belts to keep it rolled up and store it in the overhead.

You can buy in the store or on Costco online.

Yeah, I could see that! I wish I had read your advice 6 months ago. I did buy the king topper, and it is heavy and bulky to put away every time I break down the bed! Good advice! :)

These memory foam mattress toppers are not light, so dealing with two twins is way less work!

If you are getting the queen size topper for the cab-over bed, you will need to trim about 3 inches off the side for a perfect fit (just cut the foam and then put the cover back on.

Thanks for the tip, Mike.
Have been thinking of getting one to put on top of our custom made mattress. The custom made mattress is just not quite as soft as we would like.
Anybody used the queen size in a 30 Ft. IB? The topper is just a couple of inches bigger than the mattress. If so, were you able to use without triming any off or does it work, as is?

Not answering your question, but I will say that trimming is easy.
Just unzip the cover, pull out the offending foam, mark with a felt tip pen to guide the cut, and then chomp away with a scissors. A box cutter knife or band saw would work too, but the scissors does a reasonable job (g).

 Bumper is right.  We bought a twin memory foam at Costco, and it's all I can do to roll it up and heft it up to the overhead in the morning.  Can't imagine how heavy a King Size memory foam would be!

We use the Costco topper at home but decided to use a less dense memory foam for our LD. I can't carry the Costco queen size topper by myself and we didn't want to carry that kind of weight in our LD. I ordered one queen and one California king from eBay. They are each 2" thick and much easier to handle than the Costco pad. The queen  stays on the bed and the king (mattress, not hubby) gets rolled up, bungeed and stored in the compartment under the refrigerator. I use duvet covers on them. As far as comfort goes, we can't tell the difference between the super heavy dense Costco topper and the less than half priced eBay pads. They showed no signs of wear after seven months of daily use.

You could also save some money by buying on regular king size version and cutting it in half.  This equals two twins at lower cost, although you wouldn't have the two zippered covers to put over them.
