LaDeze GTG, Phase II July 22, 2005, 01:36:33 pm Yahoo Message Number: 55973I need some suggestions...we are planning on going to Phase II of the LaDeze GTG in September. I've emailed Honey Bear 3 times so far to make reservations, and have yet to receive an answer. Anyone else make reservations for Phase II, and, if so, how did you do it? I'm getting a bit irritated that they have not seen fit to answer my emails. It's certainly not the way to make a good impression on potential customers!Linda Hylton2004 Red 23.5' TKFrom Pit River Campground (BLM) See where we are: http://map.datastormusers.com/user2.cfm?user=1167[Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

We have no cell phone signal at our campground, so have to drive 15 miles into Burney to make a call. That's why I've been trying to do business with this campground via email. I guess we could always stay somewhere else and drive over for the day, but would really prefer to be right there.Linda Hylton2004 Red 23.5' TKFrom Pit River Campground (BLM) See where we are: http://map.datastormusers.com/user2.cfm?user=1167

Linda, Sounds like the perfect solution for you is internet phone. "Skype" (link below) in the version of computer-to-computer (for Mac or PC) is FREE... and, yes, it works beautifully. One can also download SkypeOut which will allow you to call from your computer to a regular old- fashioned phone. SkpeOut is not free, but it is ridiculously inexpensive (.017/min).Anyway... look into it.Davidhttp://www.skype.com

Hey, David, thanks for the link! I've thought about VOIP, but don't know anything about it or how it works. That would be the perfect solution for times like now where we have Internet access, but no cell phone access! I'll have to see if we can purchase a pair of headphones or a USB phone someplace first...maybe Radio Shack? Best Buy? Circuit City? We're driving into Redding sometime next week to make one final Costco run before leaving here, so maybe we can find something there.Linda Hylton2004 Red 23.5' TKFrom Pit River Campground (BLM) See where we are: http://map.datastormusers.com/user2.cfm?user=1167

I may take you up on it if I don't hear anything back from my last email which I just sent out this morning. Of course, if I don't hear anything from them soon, I could just give them a call when we're in Redding next week for our Costco run (which didn't occur to me until just now...duh!).Linda Hylton2004 Red 23.5' TKFrom Pit River Campground (BLM) See where we are: http://map.datastormusers.com/user2.cfm?user=1167
Re: [Life With A Lazy Daze RV] LaDeze GTG, Phase II Reply #7 – July 22, 2005, 08:03:42 pm Yahoo Message Number: 55992Linda................I just called up to Honey Bear to make extended reservations for myself. I hadn't even thought about it, and I had planned on staying to the very end! Lady I talked with said it wouldn't be a problem as we are boondocking. So when you call, there should be plenty of room. Just checked my calendar. I will be away for 10 days. Hope there is a place to dump close by! Jonna and Mimi, glad you are going to be there. Been a long time. Two years! This is going to be great seeing everyone. Can't wait. (impatiently waiting already taken.)Pat (Mac) Hot No Calif.....Can't wait for the fog too! !
