Flag Pole July 23, 2005, 03:52:52 pm Yahoo Message Number: 56041Quote Does anyone have any information on these "poles", i.e., do they telescope? Are they fiberglass, aluminum, graphite? How do they attach? Who sells them? Joan, I have a fiberglass telescoping flagpole that I bought at a decorative flag store in Bodega Bay. It is very light weight and simple. When I want to use it I attach it to the ladder with a couple of those plastic locking electrical ties. It has a rubber base that sits on the bumper, and a hook at the top to attach windsocks or small flags. It collapses to about four feet and probably doesn't weight a pound. I went out to the RV and got it. The official description is "flexible telescoping 13 foot windsock pole". Mfr is Premier Kites, website is www dot premierkites dot com. Doris 99 30IB

(Since my original question, I have Googled a *whole* lot more flagpole stuff than anybody needs to know; who knew there was a whole "flagpole" world out there?) ;-)Joan
