Very interesting gossip or truth?

I visited a large RV multi dealership today and one of the salespersons, who handles Monaco, mentioned that he has read/heard that Monaco is buying Laze Daze!!!  I have been reading the daily digest for many months now and have not seen any mention of this.  Whether it is true or not only the Newtons or Monaco knows but I sure did a double take!  Monaco is buying many companies and from what I have heard most of the purchased companies have regressed in quality (Beaver for one).  Hence, make the purchase soon if shopping for a new LD!  Perhaps though there is nothing to worry about as the LD factory is small in size and unless Monaco builds a brand new plant LD's could not be mass produced.
I may have a buyer for my diesel pusher!  I want to leave CA by early May though so the purchase of a new LD is out of the question now.  I am watching carefully for a good used LD but cannot make a move until I actually receive payment for my diesel.  I have to admit that I specifically went to look at Bigfoots today.  They usually have a big problem with payload but I did find a 29 footer which has a CCC of 1004lbs plus 2 persons weight can be added.  They also make a 24footer without a slide that has a CCC of 1900lbs.  They do have other pluses of good insulation and wonderful storage space.  There is not as much glass as with the LD but the glass is insulated.  The test drive went well but the driving position is not very comfortable for me.  The seat does not go back very far and my arms were bent no matter what I tried.  Although I have been to the LD factory twice now I have not taken a test drive although I did pretend by sitting in the drivers seat.  Is their ample room for a 6 footer?  Can one push the seat back and almost stiffen ones arms when driving? Anyone have a newish 26 MB or IB for sale or contemplating the sale?  I am in southern CA in Mountain Center above Palm Desert.  Give a shout please!

Mike, wrong Lazy Daze!  I think he's referring to the huge Lazydays RV dealership at Exit 10 on I-4 at Seffner, FL.

Most RV dealers/salespeople (outside of the L.A. area) don't have a clue about Lazy Daze RVs.  They HAVE heard of Lazydays RVs.
