I went to a Thrift shop & bought a duet cover for $3, matched it up w/ different weight blankets from my linen closet & POOF.... instant travesack. Total cost.... $3.I'm not saying that the factory should or could charge less. I'm saying that *you can do better*. There is also a member of this group who made one & posted instructions for you to make one on his website. He sends readers there continually, I'm sure he'll be along any minute to give you the link as well. We think the LD one is only slightly bigger than the queen Travesack and we prefer the closures and sheet fastening of the Travesack. That said, we havn't switched back to the Travesack yet. I suggest you look at the memory foam mattress toppers for that. Costco was selling them awhile back, not sure if they still are. I bought a queen size for the cab-over. It was about 3 inches too wide, so I used a scissors to trim 3" off the foam. The nice included cover didn't mind the foam being a bit smaller.Good news is that when we want to use the rear king in our MB, the queen mattress topper goes across the head of the bed (curb side widest part) and a twin topper goes across the foot of the bed. Covers the whole thing nicely!Doing it this way means smaller toppers to fold and put away (they're heavy and the king size would be cumbersome).all the best,bumper

A couple of months ago, someone from this site generously suggested trying Overstock.com for bed toppers made of the high density foam of which you speak. We got one for the dinette bed, the overhead queen, as well as getting a deluxe model for the king bed in back. The deluxe model has the foam and also down on top. Ooohhhh, it is heavenly ! And you are so right, while the our Lazy Daze beds are sturdy and durable, they sure are hard!! So, that was how we solved our dilemna(and aching backs!). They are easily rolled up and stored in the overhead queen area when not in use. Overstock.com has pretty good prices too. I know the king-sized model with down was $200, but the regular foam pads were quite a bit less, although I forget the exact amount.So, whoever gave that advice, we thank you and our backs thank you!Denise Shookand family!

The 2" is $79.00, no matter what size you get. we got the king (more inches, same price) & cut it to fit. we had enough to put padding into seat covers for both driver & passenger.
