More LD Sightings! January 05, 2005, 07:52:55 pm Yahoo Message Number: 48769Earl & I were walking around the vendors at Tyson Wells (south side of Kuehn Road), and came across 2 Lazy Dazes! One is definitely a vendor -- the owners were in the process of setting up their wares. We didn't see anyone to talk to, but it was an older, brown LD (don't know which model) on a Chevy Van 30 chassis. There was no plaque by the door, but we could see where it had been, so assume it was bought used. The second LD was an RV or two south of the one described above (we're assuming they are vendors, too, but it wasn't as obvious whether they were or not). It was a red 26.5' MB, and the plaque by the door said "Winters." On the front, it says it was made in Pomona rather than Montclair -- anyone know what year this change was made? (We jokingly refer to the LD's with "Pomona" on them as "knockoffs!"). We didn't get a chance to talk to the owers of this LD, either, but we'll be back another time, and I'll see if we can get more information about who the owners may be.Linda & Earl 2004 23.5' Red TK From Quartzsite, AZ

Actually, since they haven't changed the site of the factory, as far as I know, it's probably either the city boundary that changed, or they decided to change the city on their own hook for some reason. Pomona and Montclair are neighbors.Sonsie
