We bought a used 26.5MB and owned it for about 3 years and really enjoyed it, but we recently traded up to a 30TB and I can tell you that the difference is amazing!  We LOVE the 30TB floorplan so much more than the MB and it fits our lifestyle much better.

Chris,

Thanks for writing up your review of the 26.5MB vs. 30TB.  My wife, Karen, and I have been having this discussion for some time.  She likes everyting about the 30' and so do I except the low CCC and to some extent the loss of mobility.  We also appreciated you tales of the first days of Full Timing.
Next weekend we go to the mothership to try on some rigs first hand.
I don't know that it will result in a purchase as the timing is still not right but we are really looking forward to it.

We live over on Conesus Lake.  Before we decided to live at the lake full time, we had a cottage at Plum Point (Himrod area) for 5 years.

I know the area well. I spent a period of my youth in Rushville, had relatives in Naples and family that had cottages on both Canandaigua and Seneca Lakes. I was there this past summer for my 50th HS reunion.

I still have relatives all over that part of the state but it is your winters that keep me in northern California, where I now have a 3 month old (as of tomorrow) 30'IB LD.

Some suggestions: 1) There are some midwest LD owners who have formed a Great Lakes Caravan Club; if you contact them, (I am not active in the group at the present time) perhaps they can put you in contact with someone in the area who has the floorplans that interest you.

If you go to the Lazy Daze Caravan Club's website ( http://www.lazydazecaravanclub.org/ ), and click on "Links," there is contact information for the Great Lakes Lazy Daze Caravan Club.
