We just wanted to wish everybody on this list a very Merry Christmas and a happy New Year!  We hope that Santa will bring lots of LD useful stuff tonight. May you all either use, receive, or purcahse your LD in the new year!
 Since we are taking off for the DVD gathering in Death Valley tomorrow we'll be mostly out of touch until early Jan.  We'll be lucky to even check our email while we are there (gotta get satellite Internet for next year ;>} )

 Art - don't know if this will get to you in time, but someone posted that they picked up wireless at the Furnace Creek NFS building. He (who?) was parked in the parking lot down across the street. So you may have access. Another thought is to go to the FS spot and ask them if they have a land-line connection. I've found a few FS buildings that have a land-line outside - sometimes inside. Worth the asking.
 Sorry we're not going to be with you guys this year - it's so much fun there. But you can't be everywhere, darn-it.
