Wrong way snow birds

We're loading up the Lazy Daze and preparing to go from Dallas to the South Bend area, Inwood Indiana to be exact. The plan is to leave Wednesday morning. Wish us well. My wife keeps saying, Why can't my inlaws live in Florida?
The forcast is -5F and strong winds for Friday, 12/24 Christmas Eve.
My parents say there is already snow on the ground, so I assume it will be drifting in addition to the flurries forcasted. This should be interesting, the lowest temp we've LDed in so far in is 15F.
I've been watching the Weather Channel. On the way up, we'll have to go through a front.

Three choices to get there:

Dallas-Nashville-South Bend Dallas-West Memphis-Effingham-South Bend Dallas-Oklahoma-Effingham-South Bend
So far, punching up through Oklahoma seems like the best choice even though it seems counter intuitive to head north as soon as possible. I really don't want to get stuck in an urban area during an ice storm and going West Memphis to Effingham is in the center of snow.

Merry Christmas all, I'm pretty sure my Christmas will be a white Christmas. Looking forward to some sledding.

Whatever decision you make, we pray a safe journey for you.  I dislike driving through snow more than anything
