Need some Critical Advise!!!

Hey anyone........

Well, I had too many things plugged in on shore power (coffee pot, small heater, etc) at the same time and triped the 15 amp breaker on my main panel.  For some reason, I can't get it to reset.  This is the 15 amp breaker with the GFI and as far as I can tell, controls all the 110 volt plugs only.  All the 12 volt lights still work and the Microwave and Air are still working.

Question/Advise.........  is there something I'm over looking?  I have waited until the breaker cooled down, turned it completely off and then tried to turn it back on (several times)........ nothing.
No fuses are out that I can tell.........  Just wondering if I need to do something specail?

Any help would come in real handy

Had the same thing happen a few months back in my 2000 MB. Replaced the breaker. End of problem. An easy job. The breakers simply snap in just like in the electrical panel in a house. You grab the breaker at the top and pull it down & out at the same time. At least that worked for me.

Ted, it *might* be that this breaker is burned out.  We had the exact same problem when we had our electrical problem back in July (see Message # 42127).
If you can't get it reset, you might have to go purchase a new one -- they can be had at places like Home Depot.

All the other responses you have had should be checked out first. There's one other possibility and that's happened to me. Even though the breaker did trip on the overloaded circuit in my case the wiring got hot enough to soften the insulation and the hot/neutral wires shorted.
I too first replaced the breaker thinking it had gone bad. Of course the new one immediatly tripped to because of the wiring problem. I ended up changing out a piece of romex wire to fix my problem.

Did you check the gfi outlet ( in my coach it is the one in the galley area) I had a problem once & the panel was fine , but the gfi outlet needed to be reset. Just a thought

If Ted's 2001 LD is like our 2004 LD, there is no GFI outlet (none of our 3 110-volt outlets have the little button to push) -- just the 15-amp breaker with the GFI.
