Less than 2 years old [rear view camera failure]
My camera died about 1.5 years ago.
The replacement and mount were sent.

Now this.
The company doesn't return my email.

I'm wondering if there are other sources for mounts?
This is unacceptable.

Hi Ted, It would help to know what the brand and model number of the camera is.   An Allen wrench and Phillips screwdriver could remove the bracket, so that it could be prepped and repainted. It looks like you might live in a near ocean salty environment. 
   If you need to change out the camera for a different model, get one that is powder coated, rounded edged and/or stainless steel.  That location on all motorhomes is subject to a lot of air turbulence. with some sand mixed in it tears up paint coatings.
    Amazon has many camera display pairs. I'm sure many RV places can fix you up also.   RonB

The camera looks like it might be a Voyager. Those little guys are pretty pricey. I have installed several over the years. If you have to replace it I would recommend you go with an inexpensive Chinese model of which there are many. You may have to run new wires. That was my experience last time I did one. The Voyager stuff is proprietary and I couldn't find an adapter. Good luck.

The Voyager cameras were state of the art ten or twenty years ago, but they have long since been surpassed in resolution and features. I've mentioned this elsewhere, but in brief: I've been using a rear-view camera + dashcam built into a clip-on rear-view mirror, similar to this Wolfbox model, for more than a year now, and it's head and shoulders above any of the Voyager models I've had experience with in the past. It displays and records two to four times the detail of the Voyager cameras, records both front (4K) and rear (1080p) video, timestamped and GPS-stamped.

Yes, you may have to run wire (a 33' cable is included). On the other hand, if the installed camera system in your rig uses four-wire cable, then you can probably splice on short lengths of the included cable with the small connectors used by the new camera at both ends, and thus avoid running new wire.

Bottom line: you get a rear view camera that shows much more detail than the Voyager cameras do, high-resolution front and rear dashcam functionality, and a crisp display that clips over your existing rear-view mirror... for a hundred bucks and change. Oh, and you don't have to find a place to mount a bulky Voyager video monitor.

These things come in models that have either 12" or 10" displays. Before you order, check to see whether the larger 12" display will interfere with your sun visors. I'm using the 12" model in a Ford Ranger pickup, but it just barely clears the visors. You may want to play it safe by getting the 10" version.
