Battery trickle chargers are great…
… when you plug them in.😉

Flew into Wyoming today to wake up my Lazy Daze out of its five month hibernation, only to see my trickle charge wasn’t plugged in.

Hoping against all hope I inserted the key, nothing, nada no beeps lights nothing.

Called Coach-Net, they had someone out in 30 minutes, and that’s only because the guy was 25 miles away.  Attached the cables, fired right up and looks to be charging.  Very pleased with their service.

It’s the little things that trip us up.   Minor issue in the scheme of things.

Wouldn't that make a great shop?  I believe it's a heated aircraft hanger.

I would love a much bigger shop, my garage is stuffed.

"Alpine, about 45 minutes south of Jackson..."

Yes, and not far from Swan Valley, Idaho! Love those square ice-cream cones.   ;D

Oof, had that frozen square abomination three years ago, the novelty shape does not make up for the poor quality of ice cream.

Highly recommend Shumway Farm’s ice cream, a small family dairy south of Alton on HWY 89.  Premium quality fresh ice cream.  Picked up 6 pints on my way out yesterday, delicious!

I wish!

It’s my sister’s hanger/house in Wyoming where the RV winters.

WOW! What a space! I keep a portable battery charger for those situations!

Dead chassis batteries are no fun at all. Several years ago I experienced a dead LD chassis battery and was given a jump by a fellow RVer using a DB Power Lithium jumper.

Pretty amazing tool. Since then I have a DB Power jumper, state of the art Battery Charger a pair of 25 foot extension cords and a very good set of jumper cables all tucked away nicely in the rig. I’ve put the jump starter to task a few times.

Found an interesting Super Capacitor Jump Starter on Amazon the other day. It can be charged using near dead chassis batteries and can apparently last lifetime. Amazon.com: Autowit Super Capacitor Jump Starter, 12V Batteryless Jump...

Interesting how far jump starters have come. Now I know what I’ll ask for on my Birthday.
