Since after ten plus years of ownership and never using the microwave from anything other then knowing we were plugged in we removed and covered the opening with a marine flex cover. You got rid of your bread box?Say it's not so.I wish LD had had a microwave delete option, we definitely would have gone for it.We finally added a big enough inverter to use it...very occasionally.Enjoy the extra storage, the 24' models need all the storage they can get.Larry

The Oven remains a repository for cat food and cat treats. Not a very efficient arrangement. Keeping the stove top and getting rid of the oven; turning it into a decent storage area would be great. Maybe a folding door with a catalytic Wave 3, since the propane connection is there..... RonB 2 Likes

RonBI was firmly in camp microwave was just an inefficient bread box when I bought my TK, but like Ron, my solar upgrade quickly make the microwave a useful appliance again.I still used the gas oven & cooktop frequently when it wasn’t too hot outside to use them. That was until last spring when I added an air fryer and portable induction burner for those warm days. Life changing, the air fryer cooks up anything, quicker and better than the oven ever could. Likewise the induction burner is far more powerful than the propane cooktop. And I can move either one outside when it’s really hot, using an extension cord plugged in to the fridge’s 120v outlet.This year I’m pondering removing the propane oven, something I considered blasphemy just two years ago. I'd keep the cooktop, since you can have multiple items simmering at once. I don't have enough batteries to eliminate that capability. But the storage volume where the oven is now would hold your air fryer and induction cook top, yes? A cabinet door to match would help the looks. RonB 2 Likes

Looks as if it's basically a small convection oven, yes?Due to limited kitchen space, my cooking is all done with two devices: a one-burner propane stovetop, and a very small Dash mini toaster oven. I hadn’t thought to replace the microwave with a new air fryer/toaster oven. It sounds like an interesting proposition which will require a little research and conversation with Margee. I used to be concerned that I might have a heat problem but the underside of the cupboard has never been more than just warm to the touch! Apparently their cooling system works well. Until my old unit gives up the ghost I cannot justify the newer Air Fryer even though I've been salivating over it for some time.
