Roof resealing recent experience
My LD is now 10 years old, and the roof seams look like the time to reseal the roof has come. Does anyone have recent experience to share with having this done (rather than doing it myself*)? I am located in Southern California. Searching reveals a few were looking at Vince’s Coachworks shop, but searchiing doesn’t turn up any reports of the result.

*My back, my knees, and my wife are opposed to me doing it myself.

Keith … if Vince gives you a quote, would you consider posting that information?   I’d certainly be appreciative.

We’re kind of in the same boat in terms of my hip, back, and Margee.  I’m more or less willing to do it, but the cost may be higher than getting help!  😂

3 years ago Todd at LD referred me to Lakeside Auto Body (LAB) in Lakeside, CA outside of San Diego. They had performed many roof reseals on LD's and used all of the correct methods and materials that the LD factory used. At that time I believe LD was trying to wind down the repair end of the business as Vince had left so Todd suggested I call them. The owner of LAB had been instructed (I believe by Vince) on how to properly perform this work.

I am very pleased with the work which was completed quickly and for a very reasonable price. Would highly recommend them for your roof reseal. If the SD area is convenient to you this would be my choice.

Best of luck!

In researching this, I believe the correct name is Lakeside Paint and Body Shop.

I will call Monday to verify.

I also came to the conclusion that it's Lakeside Paint and Body Shop. If you go to Google Maps street view for that address their sign shows it as Lakeside Auto Body and there is a LD in the photo.

Hi Mike (Kenodog2000);  Looks like about a '93 GM chassis with driver side skirt damage. A 22.5' front lounge.  Amazing what you can find in GoogleMaps!  Google Maps     I'm not endorsing this body shop, but at least they've seen a Lazy Daze.  If this person (owner?) is a member here they could leave a review.   RonB
