We bought our 1985 TK in 1991, and either that year or the next, we were in Death Valley and saw a lot of Lazy Daze units gathered together.  We knew naught of the group, but should have gone over to investigate.  Not sure why we didn't.

Would this have been an early gathering of Roger's?

Also, I'm finally posting food pix again; this time focusing on things that are easily done with small appliances and limited power.

I suspect these are folks that know nothing of this forum, nor the annual get together at Quartzsite.

If that  Death Valley group was seen around New Years in the Sunset CG, it was most likely a group informally called DVD (Death Valley Desperados).  These were mostly folks active in the original Caravan Club.  We attended for several years starting about 2002.  Lots of good friends and good memories from those trips.

Oh yeah, I went there one year. Took Philippine 'Lumpia' to share at pot-luck. I never got a chance to have seconds!  :o   ::)

Happens every year, often the same people -- I've pretty much gotten over it finally.

Glad you were able join us though, and thanks for the photos!

Hi!
Will any of you Lazy Dazers be around this coming week?

I'm in Golden Valley, AZ, now.  Near Kingman.  Got held up by the snow, etc.
But would love to meet you!  Is Rogers 1/2 Acre in High Jolly?

We’re hoping to head over today or tomorrow. Also held up by circumstances. Hopefully the wind will die down.

Thanks for your suggestion for the plumbing problem.  I did not know the RV Proctologist existed.  Problem from previous owners  resolved!

We got delayed - need to drill holes in our new tow defender (rock guard) and of course chassis battery just went out to make life more fun.  But likely there tomorrow.

We are at pilot knob in Yuma, nice place but only trash amenities and cell tower access - not very crowded, but other amenities close by.  Just caught and said hi to another LD entering.

I got here in time to see you leave. Steve TK and another Linda in a red RK are here.  Had a visit from Zanobia. It's going to be a bit cold tomorrow so we may be slow in welcoming Jane and Scott if they get here.

Hi All,
Thanks Steve and Gwen for the tour and Linda for the tour of your rigs.  They were great!
Nice to meet you Linda B.  Your rig was beautiful also.
I'm camping in La Posa South with my brother, his wife and their Monaco friends.
We're planning on leaving Saturday for Senator's Wash and Yuma, and then Lake Havasu around the 23rd of February.
I have a Roadtrek with a purple kayak on the back.
Please call if you want to meet up.  I can't always get to the internet.

Hi - we delayed one more day -
We left Yuma but only by 10 mins 😁.

We considered going to quartzsite and felt comfortable we could find you all in the dark having been there a couple times before.
But decided it had been a long day and this is our first time towing - all systems checked out except the toad break system.  We figured fresh in the morning would be better to do this.

And yup freezing and windy in Yuma, I think our coldest day since we got here in Nov.

So headed to quartzsite Wed morning.
