My Lazy Daze is a French tourist attraction.
Weirdest thing happened today, pulled up next to a French tour bus at Kings Canyon Visitor Center, and the folks getting on the bus waved and started taking photos of my Lazy Daze.

Or more specifically, they were photographing my license plate, at least 10 photos were taken.

To be fair, Wyoming plates are rare out here, but photo worthy?

Fact, the French are anamored with cowboys and the American "Old West"  Lucky Luke was popular even into the 2000s.

It's not just the French, it's the Germans as well. During the early part of my deployment to Germany we lived with a German family. They had a mind-set that America was populated by two cultures, Gangsters and Cowboys!  ;D

I see that you’ve got yourself a Sheridan (12) plate, Dave. Did you buy a property there?  For possible interest, there is a facility called “Outlaw Garages” Outlaw Garages – Sheridan Wyoming Condo Garages  in Sheridan. The units are reasonably priced and the facility is set up for RVs with a wash bay, bath house, RV dump, etc…. Some of the units have bathrooms and even small kitchens (for day use I believe),

12 is Lincoln county, Alpine, south of Jackson.

No property in Wyoming, was trivial to register out there, just gave them my sister’s PO Box in Alpine.  I’ll be storing my TK at my sister’s place starting next fall.

Nevada, at least in the past, was similarly easy to get a vehicle registered. When I was in the military, I gave them my grandmother’s address in White Pine County.

Is your legal address still in California?
