What's this part that is leaking? Pic included... August 27, 2022, 06:22:35 pm Hi Everyone,I was under the front end of our 2007 25 MB Lazy Daze to drain the oil change for an oil change, and I noticed this thing leaking. Not much of a leak though as there was none on the ground...There was just a drop hanging. This thing is right behind my Safe-T-Plus Steering Control. So what is it?Thanks,Eric

Pay particular attention to the outer end of that joint, you will see the zerk nipple which is used to inject the grease needed in those joints, the second of which you will find in the same location behind the other tire. Check your owners manual for the proper lube interval.

Now, I've located all 4 of them. Many (most) E450's upper and lower ball joints have removable plastic plugs that, once removed, allowed zerk fitting to be installed.Ball joints are normally the first thing that needs replacement in the front suspension, lubing them everytime the oil is changed will significantly increase their life span.Larry
