Bathroom Renovation
In this busy and confusing world, I understand that most people don’t have the extra time to browse YouTube as often as I do.  With that said, I found a very creative LD owner who did what I consider to be a remarkably renovation of the bathroom in her TK.  It inspired me.

I hope you find this video as interesting as I did.  Btw, she also has a video where she replaced her A/C … also worth watching.

She did a fine refresh of her bathroom, good tips for redoing.

Thanks for this update on Mr. Green. I remember the downpour the owner had inside her nu-to-her LD. Very heartbreaking but she seems to have maintained a very positive attitude and kept moving forward.

The BR looks amazing. Good for her.

Very nice remodel, it's a huge improvement.
I have used the same plastic refinishing product, it requires an extra effort to get the plastic totally clean, to ensure that paint sticks.  Soap scum and any other surface contaminations can be tough to remove.
The only thing she didn't do was to wear an organic filter mask to deal with the two-part paint solvents, a dust mask, even an N95, does nothing to remove organic solvents.

Thank you for sharing this, I checked out all of the videos documenting her work thus far.  Really interesting and I'm impressed by her willingness to tackle and complete these jobs.

The bathroom refinishing (to a lesser degree) might be in our future, as the shower color makes the whole thing look a little bit dingy even when spotless.

Since everything's original (except new bath sink faucet/toilet seat and A/C, etc), and in near perfect shape, I struggle with the idea of "violating" the all-original condition of the rig. Kind of silly, I guess.

I do have an area where the simulated wood grain sticker is starting to sag and fold, but it seems she was able to paint right over the stickers in her other video after prep. I'm definitely not ready to make that move yet (same reason as above) -- but glad to see it can be done.

Hi Jason.   I think the beige Lazy Daze started with has darkened over the years, but is still ok for now.  I compare it with the beige porcelain toilet which I'm sure is still colorfast, and it might be my eyes.  I installed 4300K LED lighting to upgrade it, and it looks much brighter!  Also I don't spend much time in the 'TK little bathroom.  I did put in a new FFan, exhaust only, and the brush motor noise only bothers me if I have my hearing aids in. The 'garnish is much whiter.  (many other things higher on the to-do list).    RonB

I liked the bathroom remodel but her roof project made me cringe. She painted a silicone coating on the aluminum roof- something LD does NOT recommend, put eternabond around the roof fans and vents- eternabond should only be used on permanent things like the roof seals, and put some type of metal patch over the hole from the antenna, where an aluminum patch is needed. People see these things, don’t know any better and end up messing up their LD. This is why YouTube can be very misleading. It's also why this group is so important.
