Battery Box Wiring March 31, 2021, 06:11:24 pm Can anyone here help ID the 4 red wires into the back of the battery box on my ‘95 RB ? I’m guessing 1 to the alternator, 1 for generator start, & 1 to the distribution panel .... number 4 ?

Re: Battery Box Wiring Reply #2 – March 31, 2021, 07:15:30 pm Two wires run to and supply power to the Power Center, inside the coach, and the other two wires run forward to the battery isolator, mounted under the hood on the driver's side. There should be one or two larger cables running to the generator, assuming there is one. The cable powers the generator's starter and fuel pumpLarry

The one to the generator I accounted for in my txt. Why 2 wires to the isolator ? It has 3 terminals, 1-coach battery, 1-engine battery, 1-alternator.Only 3 wires are accounted for.

Re: Battery Box Wiring Reply #6 – July 05, 2022, 04:36:39 pm I redid my setup with Lithium batts and a new inverter/charger and busbar etc...what can I do with the alternator/generator wiring so I can still get the generator running?Quote from: Larry W - March 31, 2021, 07:15:30 pmTwo wires run to and supply power to the Power Center, inside the coach, and the other two wires run forward to the battery isolator, mounted under the hood on the driver's side. The alternator wire goes through a 100A breaker (pre-existing) from the alternator isolator, then to the battery positive. If you still have the diode-type isolator, that is sufficient.Steve 1 Likes
