Replacing the rear camera
Has anyone successfully removed the the panels in a 27' MB upper back cabinet in order to get to the back camera connector?

My camera has water in it.

Hi Ted;  Yes I've taken out the floor of the above storage compartment to get to the wiring and connectors. On the driver side half I had screws, left by Lazy Daze when they installed the factory camera. The left side has staples. I pulled those out when I upgraded the speakers.
Is there water inside the camera, or just on the lens?  I think my camera was made by Audiovox, but I've lost track of my owners manual over the years (it is here somewhere). The connector may be industry standard, yours is new enough, so you may be able to just plug in a new camera.   RonB.

The screen shows droplets of condensation along with an overall hazy picture.

Which half is the connection on? The driver's side? Or do I need to take off both?

Hi Ted;  Mine was 0n the driver side half. The camera itself is directly in the middle.   RonB
