Trickle charge house batteries November 19, 2021, 04:09:40 pm I’ve done my research and searches and I can’t find any info on keeping house batteries charged while in storage, with no access to shore power. Just purchased 2 new Duracell 6V (kudos to Batteries Plus for installing them and the outstanding service!) and I want to make sure to take good care of them! My thoughts are a trickle charger/maintainer, but no capability to plug in?It will be stored for 4-6 months. Any assistance is much appreciated!! 1 Likes

If stored outside and you have solar, this should keep them fully charged. If you ever replace the batteries again, lithium batteries tolerate long-term storage better.Larry 1 Likes
