I thought I'd pass along this information that I recently received from TechnoRV if you're in the market for any type of RV equipment.

Thanks, Cheryl! I am just getting ready to order a tire monitoring system so hopefully can get 5% off! I'm looking at the TST system but trying to decide if the flow-thru sensors will fit on the RV.  They look larger than the cap sensors.

You're quite welcome!  I chose all cap sensors for my RV and tow car, but it's advised if you want to mix get the flow-thru for the RV and cap for the tow car.   This might help you decide:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R6IN-lYwgEU

Checking the tire pressure daily releases a little air pressure each time. This is eliminated when using a TPMS system and reduces the need to add air often, I choose a non-air-through sensor, it sticks out less and is not as likely to catch on anything.
Our Michelins seem to be very air tight and seldom require adding air, YMMV

Thanks, Cheryl! The video was quite helpful.  Think I’m going to go with the cap sensors all around due to the smaller size.

Hi Greg; Another type of sensor is available for the front tires.    Can't be stolen or damaged. The batteries (must be larger) are rated 5-7 years, about what tire life is. Coupled with these wheel tire stems https://www.summitracing.com/parts/CAL-711954?rrec=true  since the tire is open, chrome plated steel stems would be good install. 
    This would also be a fix for Ted, in order to retain his Ford Factory system and have TST for his towed car.  RonB

A month ago I sent TST an email asking about these very same internal sensors.  They responded that the battery actually only last 4-5 years and you have to buy new sensors (at full price) when the batteries run out.  TST does not do any kind of replacement discount for internal sensors.  The 4-5 year lifespan of the sensors doesn’t lineup well with the 5-6 year tire replacement schedule.  Also, replacing all 10 sensors at full price plus having a tire company remove and remount the LD and toad tires every 4-5 years was just too expensive for me.  So for these reasons, I decided against installing internal sensors on the LD and toad.  The 2021 Ford E450 comes with a pressure-only measuring system… I guess that would be a PMS instead of a TPMS.  Anyway, I’m going to see how the Ford system works for me and go with the TST 507 and 4 external caps for the toad.

Thanks for that information John.  I already have the flow through sensors for the 6 MH tires, and a cap sensor for the spare. I plan to install the booster/repeater inside the plastic tire cover at the top driver side, not covered by tire.  Because of the access panel inside the back wall of the storage compartment,  it shares space with the TV 12Vdc and my USB charger. I have a place to put the switch, and power the repeater. I won't be able to see the red light on the repeater though. But I can put a pilot light for the repeater power switch.   RonB

Ron, my only concern with installing a booster inside the fake tire cover is that, at least on mine, it doesn’t seal very well. I’ve noticed dust and moisture after washing.

TST main site does not indicate if the booster is waterproof, if it isn't, the spare tire area is not the place to put it.
In my experience with TPMS systems, the receiver has more problems receiving the signal from the LD's duals, not the toad.
Our TPMS receiver can 'see' the toad two hundred feet away.
I suggest not installing the booster until the system has been tested without it, many times, a booster is not needed.

Our LD's driverside inner dual sensor would intermittently drop out, so a booster was mounted in the wardrobe close to the driverside dual-wheel cover. Power was supplied from a nearby light fixture. To turn the booster on or off, a second switch is installed on the power supplying light fixture. The boosters usually do not have a power switch. The booster uses a small amount of power, some systems leave the booster powered all the time.

I have the Pressure Pro system on my rig, no toad. I have the receiver\monitor and antenna mounted where the CB was originally in my rig, above the rear view mirror. The only time I've ever had a problem with the signal between a sensor and the monitor, the sensor on one of the back tires was bad. When I received a replacement under warranty, it connected with the monitor promptly when installed. I have noticed a couple of times when I happen to look up and the monitor is 'awake', that when an 18 wheeler goes by, the signal may drop for a few seconds, then come right back in.

Other's experience must vary, but that is mine for what it's worth.

The TST 507 signal booster is totally waterproof, and can be mounted underneath, behind a side fiberglass skirt, etc. The wiring connection of course would need to be protected from water. I plan to put it through the back wall of my TK inside the area covered by my functional tire cover. 
    Quote from the manual:  The repeater is an integral component to your TPMS system.
Failure to install the repeater could void the warranty coverage.
1. The repeater is used to strengthen/amplify
the sensor signal to the display. A repeater is
packaged with this system.
2. The repeater is wired to a 12V source that will
be constant while driving.
3. The repeater comes with two wires, one red (+)
and one black (-). Simply connect the red wire to
a positive source and black wire to a ground or
negative source.
4. The repeater is weather resistant. No additional
setup is needed for the repeater.
Motorhome Installation
We recommend installing the repeater in one of the rear basement compartments
where there is a 12v power source. Mount the unit inside the bay but against
the outer wall. Do not put the repeater in the engine compartment because of
excessive heat. Do not put the repeater in the rear closet because the metal in the
mirror will block the signal.                                                                                              RonB

I used double stick foam tape to mount our TST repeater on the upper left corner of the rear window in our 2021 Rear Bath. I stole power from the light fixture above the bathroom sink for an additional light I added above the toilet. This is where I continued the power on to the TST repeater via an online rocker switch. (See photo) Being on the glass does not hamper the RF signal to & from the repeater whereas being mounted in a more remote location would.

Hi Mike. It's pretty amazing that tiny battery powered transmitters can get past any metal at all. As Larry said, most of the problem is from the duals, a lot of steel!  The instructions mention that not using the repeater will void the warranty. I'm not sure how TST could enforce that anyway.   My normal sitting position is confined to the rear dinette. I don't put anything in those windows if I can avoid it. No 6x9" fresnel lenses, no signal repeaters, decals, etc.
   The ABS material of the tire cover should allow any signals from the 'towed' to get through. Meanwhile it will be out of sight, protected from too much weather. Greg; dust and moisture are minimal exposure for a spare tire, and shouldn't bother that TST repeater. The back aluminum wall, (steel wheel and steel belts in my case) are more impediments to radio waves. But then these things are next to steel wheels and tires as a matter of course. Inside the rear bumper would be even worse. I might still mount it inside the skirt next to the driver side rear marker light, to try it out.   RonB

Mike's installation on the rear window is as good as it gets, performance wise.

For LDs with the spare tire mounted on the rear and the repeater mounted in the spare tire compartment, the performance should be similar to a repeater mounted in the window, there is no metal wall in the way, forward or rearward, to block the signal.
LDs, with the spare stored in the side compartmen, would have better performance with the window mount, the front of the fake spare tire compartment has a sheet aluminum wall that blocks the signal forward.

For Greg's MB, a window mounted repeater would be the best, power is available from one of the overhead cabinets lights.

Ordered the TST 507 yesterday from Amazon. I wanted the sunshade option, a $19.95 addition which covers the color monitor and it was included in this package so even with 5% off from Techno RV, this was a slightly better deal:
