Warranty and Recall service in the San Diego area?
I'm having a difficult time finding a dealer in San Diego County that handles this for motorhomes.

A call to the national corporate office was fruitless as I was placed on hold forever and I couldn't take the distorted crappy music in my ears

Grosch Ford Escondido is backed up and not taking anyone.

Are you interested in engine/chassis service, or something else.

For engine/chassis, I'd look for a Ford dealer that has a lot of F-350 and bigger vehicles on the lot.  They probably have the capacity to deal with a larger vehicle and Ford can lean on them to provide the service.  In my area, the more rural the dealership, the more capacity they have to service large vehicles.

For branded RV items (fridge, toilet, microwave, air conditioner etc...), a call to the manufacturer might give some leads.

For LazyDaze items, I would drive up to the Mothership from San Diego.

I believe some Rush Truck Centers are authorized to handle Ford warranty issues. Check with Ford and Rush first but there is a location on Miramar Rd:

2 recalls and some alerts have popped up on my Ford app I need to ask about.
All engine and chassis related.

I can't even get through calling local dealers and when I finally do they don't know who services motorhomes.

Hi Ted; I had the misfortune of going to (then) Homer Heller ford at Escondido in 2003. They couldn't replicate the starting problem I had, and they had my motorhome for 2 weeks. When I picked it up, just as the 36 month warranty was expiring, I made them sign the work order that if the problem came up afterwards they were still 'on the hook' for that repair. I got it home and fixed it myself for about $1.  (less than the gas to get there and back!)
I looked them up on Yelp, and the 2 star rating was generous in my opinion.
Now it is Gosch Ford, and the reviews are much better. Hopefully the entire organization seems to have gotten better, so I'm counting on them to be there if I ever have a Ford again.
So what do you need to have done Ted?  You can have routine service done anywhere. The same with recalls. Just keep the receipts. The warranty isn't dependent on who does the work. Even you can do the work! Keep those receipts.   RonB

Most dealers cannot lift the rig.
One recall requires it although I crawled under and checked it. It's a potential wire rub raw issue. But it was fine.  I just want it checked and off the record. And an engine cover insulation issue. Of course the Mothership "never heard of this".

The Ford Fleet website lets you search for dealers that can handle larger vehicles (F-650/F-750).

El Cajon Ford changed our LD's engine three years ago. One of the Blown Spark Plug brothers works there as a mechanic and did the work. No complaints other than the long drive.

We’ve had good experience with Rush Truck Center in Whittier. Out of your way but may be worth considering if you can’t get in down South.

And, if all local options fail, I again can recommend South Bay Ford Fleet and Truck Center in Hawthorne (L.A. County, just south of LAX). They welcome motorhomes and usually get you in and out the same day (I generally arrive a half hour before opening).  310-706-6200. 13900 Hawthorne Blvd. Do NOT confuse with the separately located auto dealership. — Jon

None ever called me back.

Ford customer service is living up to its lousy reputation.

It's just the way things are right now, across the country.  Places are short staffed and service is suffering.

If you really want to get things taken care of, consider driving down there and talking to someone in person.

When a place is short staffed, people standing in front of an employee get more attention than someone who left a message.

I know it's not 'right', but it's reality in a lot of places right now.

Hi Ted; If you crawled under and looked at the 'wire rub problem'; and it is OK, then there isn't any hurry.  You can get this signed off years from now. I'd continue to check it out one in awhile though. Is there an actual fix for that yet, or is it just an inspection thing?
You might want to do the insulation repair thing yourself.  Did you look at it, or just suspect an issue?  RonB
