Muhammad,

As-Salam Alaikum!

Thanks for sharing......looks like I have plenty to go through over coffee the next few mornings!!

Bill

Walekum Slam Bill (appreciate the gesture) and may God have Mercy on you as well. Keep a remote control with you .....  you may not want to watch after few minutes on the first video you select ..... Instead of places we visited perhaps you want to see my daughter wedding ceremony (that is the only video with any serious hit). Wedding was in Barkley campus and morning of her wedding was her PhD defense and after working for five years as post doc she is have accepted a position in Columbia (of course this make us very happy to have her close to home).
Cheers

yes it can last for week+ ... In US parents invest on Child's education and in my culture resources are wasted during wedding week. Even second generation has not changed, in fact thanks to Bollywood movies, trend is going in the wrong direction. In our case, we were very very very fortunate .... what you are seeing is very simple ceremony .... regular Indian wedding beside duration you will see 700+ guests ...... Just like South America, Indian culture is very colorful

Quick Edit: I am using Pakistani and Indian culture interchangeable ... if our parents were not migrated to Pakistan, we would be Indians .... Irony is that it took 1+ year to get Indian visa because we were born in Pakistan but culture, language, food is same. And before moderator say something, lets get back to LD topic.

"I am using Pakistani and Indian culture interchangeable..."

During WWII my Stepfather served with the Flying Tigers, first in Karachi, India and later in China. When I grew up and started to learn geography Karachi was not in India, but in Pakistan! I wasn't wise enough to understand why!   ::)

Friends,

We completed second month long trip to Shenandoah, Blue Ridge, Smokey Mountains and NC Outer Banks. No issue with the LD and continue to use my learnings from this forum in last few years. I will repeat what I read on this forum that LD is taking us to places I never thought will be possible. Trying to slow down and enjoy each stop but not there yet, still rushing .... Next two trips for Fall foliage in North and 10 week long winter trip to Florida is planned and all the campground are booked. I must say getting campground in FL during winter is a challenge. I am also planning Eastern Canada trip next summer if our Africa trip get cancelled and Canadian borders are open. We have few foreign trips booked and planned but with LD I think we will continue to explore US for next few years. It does not make sense to have additional hassle of foreign trips when we can see our beautiful continent in the comfort of our home.

As for covid issues, RV trips take us in open and with booster shot I am more confident ..... bigger issue is staying home and visiting friends and family in close quarters.

We are slowly modifying LD, added one fan in the back and have other fan in hand for Dinning room. Installed two additional batteries and monitor and few other minor stuff. We are also collecting some toys along the way as well, have two Lectric bikes and will be receiving ORU tandem kayak in couple of days. Need to adjust spacing and load situation in LD and toad. Good problem to have .....

I think I am on my way now ... will be reading this forum but not as regularly as I used to be. With so many experts around not sure how I can ever repay to the community but for potential future campers, I will say "Just do it". There are friendly folks in camping community to help and with give you a jump start in this new and exciting life style.

Be Well and hope to see some of you on the road .....

You can 'repay' by posting interesting out-of-the-way places not commonly known.  We all benefit.
Safe travels and see you down the road.

Muhammad, You are welcome to stop in at our ranch for a visit whenever you are in the Tampa area. Just give us notice ahead of time to see if we are going to be home.

you are right, we are having a good time ... was busy with week+ long wedding ceremony of Sophia's niece and time is running out fast to prepare for fall foliage trip. we need to reorganize RV to make room for new toys and I need to learn few new tricks as well to be able to use these toys. I am putting our record of first trip as well this has more info about how we live in RV, I know how to beautify a video but these are just raw footage for our record ... and yes keep a remote control close by it is 9+ hours long but to my defense that trip span for about six months (yes I was lazy with editing):-) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7BJ6RAmqvus&t=4765s
