I’ve never seen anything more than the outside of a “Robin Hood”. Now I know a little more.
This young adventurer flew to Oregon to make this purchase of a 1978 Robin Hood. Does this look familiar?

It looks very familar, for several years, Ed Newton formed his owned RV company but it was short term business, closing in 1979.
Many of the Robbinhood's features were taken straight from Lazy Daze models and it shows.
After ceasing production, Ed came back to LD and stayed until his passing.

A little bit of history here.

Everything about this is adorable. I hope the over-cab repairs aren't too much to handle. That was one rusty looking roof vent.

It did look like rust....The older motorhomes have vents with steel frames.  About to replace one of mine (bathroom). I immediately thought of Larry's well known admonition about older coaches being bought by people with not enough background. (time, money, skills)  But  you have to start somewhere!  I would suspect long time roof leaks.  Hope she didn't pay too much. It helps to like the way it looks when you start finding out about hidden costs.    RonB

It's very nice to see the younger folks getting into the joys we all know and love.

<smile> eastern Oregon is very very cold during winter.   The polar cold fronts push down with regularity.
