Recommendations for re-upholstery of all my cushions. April 15, 2021, 03:44:59 pm Hi everyone,We're thinking about doing some upgrades to our 2005 26.5 mid bath before our first trip since the pandemic later in the fall. Most of the cushions could use replacement or re-upholstery at the least. Any recommendations for a shop somewhere in the S.F. Bay area? I could just order from the factory, I guess, but their fabric choices are a little short of wife's liking. Thanks,David G.
Re: Recommendations for re-upholstery of all my cushions. Reply #1 – April 15, 2021, 05:57:19 pm I replaced foam and fabric using a local upholsterer. In 2 years, the foam was caving in in my primary sit spots. In three years, I was getting some pilling on the fabric.I admit that I am a big guy, pushing 280 then, but I am a fulltimer and I sit in exactly the same spot for every meal, and that can be hard on fabrics and foam, but... In hindsight, I wish I had bought from the factory.Ken F in NM 1 Likes

I’ve been pretty impressed with how the foam is holding up in our 2003 TK. Not sure how typical that is though.Sorry I don’t have any suggestions for you but am interested in the topic. 1 Likes

I'll have to see what the new blue pattern is like. Thanks KenDavid G.

Both need replacement I think.David G

I have no personal experience with this shop. Right off the 880:Loading interface... 2 Likes
