No power to MH
Blew a fuse which I replaced, yet no power to MH. What have I missed?

1.  Check the fuse box and turn the breakers off and then back on.   The breaker might look like it’s in the on position, but often it is not.

2.  Check the shore power fuse box and do the same thing as #1.

If those steps fail, start the generator and see if you have electricity.

Check back with any results.   Also mention which fuse blew, any 12V electricity, any 120V electricity?    I’d expect the LD electricity experts will be here shortly.   Hope this helps.

I think Ed's response, on track, shows that you need to tell us a lot more for us to be able to suggest stuff.  Are you without 12v power?  120 volt power? Both?  Are you using your gennie?  Are you plugged into shore power?

Stuff like that gives us a starting point.

Shore power is known good. Anything I plug into shore works fine. Just not to MH. I do not have a gennie.

Ok so let’s take a step back for a moment. In your opening post you say you blew a fuse and replaced it. Sometimes the new fuse replacement is faulty. If you have another fuse to use, give that a try.

You state that the campground power pedestal works. When you say that anything you plug in works, are you plugging the electrical powered item (lamp, hair dryer...) directly into the 110 outlet on the pedestal? Are you saying that the 110 wall outlets in the coach are still not working?

Our ‘15 RB has fuses for the 12volt side of the coach and breakers for the 110 side of the coaches electrical side of the coach. You’ve replaced a fuse. I’m not familiar with the electrical set up in your rig. Is it like ours? Fuses & Breakers? The 110 in ours is serviced by a circuit breaker.

Have you pushed the breakers ALL the way downward? Sometimes they can be a bit stiff and need a good push to reset them. The same for resetting them while pushing them upward after waiting a few seconds.

I wonder why the fuse blew in the first place. Does your shore power cord show any signs of damage/char at the prongs? Perhaps there is a loose wire at the shore power end OR perhaps there is a loose connection on the coach end of the power cord. Is your shore power cord permanently attached to your rig or does it mount to the outside input?

If all else fails you may want to inspect the rigs power cord or have the campground host check the outlet of the campground pedestal.

Best of luck.

12v is good. 110/120 is dead. I am confused.

OK, now we can start.

The shore power connection has two sockets.  One is standard 120 volt.  The other is a 30 amp RV connector.  They are wired separately and they use separate breakers.  So, step one should be to use a meter and measure power in the 30 amp socket.  Make sure the 30 amp breaker is on, then CAREFULLY measure the voltage between the two angled slots.  If you have power there, turn off the breaker, plug in your cable, and turn the breaker on, then do the same with the far end of your cable if it plugs in with a Marinco connector.  (If it is hard wired to the rig, you can't check the cable directly.)  If you have no power there, the cable is bad.  The run from your cable to the power panel is unlikely to have a problem, but has there EVER been a generator in the rig?  If so, you will probably have an Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS).  When they go bad, they do not pass power through into the breakers.  I recommend getting a pro to check the ATS.  It is a tight space with fully exposed power sources.

The rest of the troubleshooting also involves really dangerous stuff. In brief, a pro should open the breaker panel front, pull the main breaker, and check for power on the black wire connecting to the breaker.  If it has power, replace the main breaker and pull another breaker, then check for power on the buss bar that the breaker snaps into.  If there is power coming to the main breaker, but none on the buss bar, the main breaker is bad.  Beyond that, a problem would not affect ALL the 120v power outlets.

Where did you blow a fuse? The 120 VAC system in your rig has NO fuses to blow. Please be a lot more specific!

Well I am the idiot. Turns out my power box was off. Switched it on and all is good. Go figure.
