Too much of the information was obsolete, and I was falling way behind in keeping it up to date, so I retired it a few years ago.Second, I handed over the "Lazy Daze Pocket Guide" to the good people here awhile back, and they are keeping it up to date better than I was. (Yeah, I'm gettin' lazy in my old age.) So please don't use the link that Winnie114 posted; that version was seriously obsolete, and I have just deleted it. Instead, use the up-to-date Pocket Guide.Third, as noted elsewhere, Don Malpas, who had been maintaining the "Lazy Daze Companion"--a compilation of of posts from our members--has left this group and has effectively taken the Companion offline by making it "by invitation only." The link that Brewersarcade posted leads to a copy of the used LD asking price guide that was formerly hosted on this forum, but was removed because it had become too inaccurate to rely upon. That link will not, however, get you into the full "Lazy Daze Companion" (even though the page says it will). 4 Likes

Interesting. Don had requested the updated 2021 price guide when I offered it up (offline of this forum). He never mentioned to me that he was going to add it to the Companion. I don’t plan to do any more updates in future years unless the LDO moderators request it but it’s pretty easy to replicate for anyone that wants to. 2 Likes

Don had a disagreement with the moderators, tried holding the Lazy Daze Companion hostage in an attempt to get his way, and when that didn't work, decided to take his marbles and go home. The world in 2021 is awash in information. Organizing and extracting the most useful parts is valuable. Yes, but that is a separate topic.To say you can just search the forum or internet instead defeats the original intent.For example, when clicked on AGM in the companion, this is what I see:AGMThe Absorbed Glass Matt construction allows the electrolyte to be suspended in close proximity with the plates' active material. In theory, this enhances both the discharge and recharge efficiency. Common manufacturer applications include high performance engine starting, power sports, deep cycle, solar and storage batteries. The larger AGM batteries are typically good deep cycle batteries and they deliver their best life performance if recharged before they drop below the 50% discharge rate. When Deep Cycle AGM batteries are discharged to a rate of no less than 60% the cycle life will be 300 plus cycles.Other than charging, these are truly no-maintenance batteries. A great advantage of AGM's is that they do not vent any gases and thus can be safely installed anywhere. AGM's are much more expensive than wet-cell batteries.Show me where that information is if I search for “AGM” in the forum.Yes, I know AGM isn’t all that LD specific, that a general Google might be better, but it’s the only example I had ready access to.Just a bit disappointed by the opinion that the LD companion loss is no big deal, you can just sift through years of LDO postings instead. I stand by my comment in the earlier thread, that I’d be willing to take the companion and convert it to a wiki so the group can maintain and evolve the companion over time.
