Lynx Leveler Blocks or ?? April 05, 2021, 11:18:03 am I've had good success with a couple of sets of these. Besides auto-levelers are the Lynx block system still about the best option?

Besides auto-levelers are the Lynx block system still about the best option? With 2-1/2 sets of Lynx blocks and two wooden ramps, I can level in almost any feasible site.Plywood ramps- carried in LD | Ramps dimensions 30 inches Lo… | Flickr90% of the time, leveling is complete with a few minutes, as fast or faster than many hydraulic levelers. We have no need for the weight and complications of hydraulic levers, many times hydraulic rams are too short or will land on wet or soft ground, and require the use of blocks under the rams. The rams are located under the rig and it isn't all that easy to get under the rig to place blocks under the rams as it is placing Lynx block under the wheels.Larry. 2 Likes
Re: Lynx Leveler Blocks or ?? Reply #2 – April 05, 2021, 11:50:33 am This is another area which I’m trying to hone in what works best. Currently, I am backed into my driveway and the left rear corner is the low spot. I’m using a combination of Lynx levelers and another type, plywood, and 2x8’s. I am up 6 inches in that corner but it’s still not enough to completely level. 1 Likes

Longer rigs need more height to level in our driveway, 31' models need an additional 4" to level, with their front wheels are off the ground, a situation where hydraulics are handy.Plywood ramps- carried in LD | Ramps dimensions 30 inches Lo… | FlickrLarry 1 Likes

Re: Lynx Leveler Blocks or ?? Reply #6 – April 05, 2021, 01:12:19 pm Hi Greg; If you just need another few inches, you can put your hydraulic 'tire changing' jack under there and help out your springs by lifting the chassis up a few inches. It won't have the full weight on the jack. I place the jack on the rear axle. I block the opposite wheel; put a note on the steering wheel, and don't forget to remove the jack! RonB 1 Likes
