Steel Roof Support April 02, 2021, 08:19:45 pm Does anyone here know what the steel roof support looks like ? Does it go down to tie into the chassis? Does it span the roof? Is it only corner braces at the roof wall joint ?

They are located at the front, where the bunk begins, one in the middle somewhere and one at the rear. They run up one side, over the top, and down the other side.They do not mount to the chassis's frame, they are part of the coach.At the corners, there are steel gussets that reinforce the steel frame, sometimes found inside the cabinets or closets.Larry 2 Likes

Besides the steel bars, the roof joists' '1-1/2" tall bays are filled with fiberglass.Running wires fore and aft in a Rear Bath is better done through the upper cabinets and wardrobe, on the driver's side, it's a straight shot across the top. The passenger side is difficult to run through. with the entry door and shower in the way.The bottom floors of the overhead cabinets are removable (after prying the staples up), exposing a Factory wiring run. WIres can run through the cabinet's floor cavity and the cabinet's floors are also a source of 12-power, by tapping into the power from the under-cabinet lights.
