The wait for a new LD
We are on the waiting list as of about a year ago.
By all accounts it looks like we will be waiting a few more months before we "get the call".

Does anyone know what the current time frames are before getting the confirmation call and then the build time?

Thanks

We got the call in October 2020 and immediately placed our order. We have been told it will be ready in June.  It feels like a long wait and the anticipation is killing us☺

My first thought was 'of what year'  ;)  We dropped the check to Todd on Nov 1 for our 2013 31 IB.  Todd said mid February.  I picked it up  February 87, or as it shows on the Gregorian Calendar  April 28.
YMMV

So Lazy Daze Factory is open?   ???

Glad to hear it, but its website needs a serious updating... it still says it's closed due to the pandemic.

The website has barely changed in two decades except for the updated specifications.
Don't bother volunteering to straighten it out, that's been tried and refused.
The showroom may still be closed due to Covid, give them a call if a visit is desired.

We got on the list 3/2 /2020 on our way back from the NASCAR race at Auto club speedway . Recently we got a call to see if we wanted the floor model but we passed because it didn't have everything we wanted.  Waiting to order the one we want.

LD's website is clumsy, poorly-designed, and minimally informative. Since their product essentially sells itself to the limit of their production capacity, I doubt that they give much, if any, consideration to a do-over to make the site more professional and inclusive of information.

However, at least LD doesn't cheap out completely and maintain a 'shell site' asking people to 'see us on Facebook'!  >:(

Their lack of marketing effort makes complete sense to me.  Considering the wait times and production capacity, it's not like they need more business.

When we picked up our new MB a couple of weeks ago the show room was still closed.

In January, while at a campground in rural Florida, we met a neighbor who was very interested in our LD.  He contacted his wife back in Washington State, and they decided to place an order.  Supposedly, the wife called the Mothership to inquire about placing an order, and (I was later told by the husband), it would take two years from the time of order to get delivery.  They passed.

Things are slowly opening up here in California.  I anticipate the showroom will be opening soon.
