Since I am nearly 5 months behind him, I’m not sure what mine will be. 🤔Congrats, Michael!

Re: Non-member Classified Listings for 2020 Reply #229 – September 06, 2020, 04:26:49 pm That's way too much money for a 36 year old LD.The interior paneling has let go and has been painted. From the same site, for $4000 more you can get a 2007, a superior chassis, engine and transmission, with less mileage.https://www.rvtrader.com/listing/2007-Lazy-Daze-26.5-REAR-BATH-5013738934You would be better off getting a 1990 or newer LD and avoiding the multi-piece, leak-prone front cap and window, they all leak eventually. The pre-1990 LDs have all sorts of leakage problems.Larry 3 Likes

The whole front cab is being rebuilt. After it is done though, other then regular resealing is there anything special to be done to help prevent leaks in the future?

After it is done though, other then regular resealing is there anything special to be done to help prevent leaks in the future? The pre-1990 front caps leak around the front where it meets the sides and around the window. Almost every early LD I have inspected had signs of leakage in the front. It is difficult to find all the leaks so all the exterior seams should be resealed.Leak detection | FlickrSoon after buying our 1983 LD, the front window was thoroughly resealed, along with all the seams in the cap and roof. This was before I had heard of Eternabond being used on RV roofs, instead, the seams were sealed with 3M 5200FC.The 22' Twin/King models often have leakage and rot in the back corners, where the back and side windows meet. Make sure all the roof seams are well sealed and that end caps are secure, before resealing their edges with 5200FC. Also clean and reseal all the perimeter of the window frames. The rear windows are more prone to leakage than the side windows and the multi-piece rear window rubber moldings tend to shrink with age and eventually leak. The rubber can be sealed with a flowable silicone wind sealant made for this application.Permatex® Flowable Silicone Windshield & Glass Sealer – PermatexMake sure the window drains are clean.Larry 2 Likes

Re: 2021 Models and Pricing Reply #245 – October 29, 2020, 02:00:34 pm An update for those on the list as I just spoke to Todd. I got on the list in mid-August 2019 and Todd said I'm very close to the top. He took my address since he will be mailing a package soon. He did say that my order would be on the 2022 chassis.Just to reiterate, the showroom is closed and they are not doing test drives. I think he said they do not have any floor models available yet. 5 Likes
Re: 2021 Models and Pricing Reply #246 – October 30, 2020, 01:27:46 pm Forgot to mention, if you are on the list and are NOT interested in the Ford driver assist technology package, you may be getting a call from Todd as he has a couple of chassis ready to build. He offered one to me but I told him that is something I wanted. 1 Likes

Re: Non-member Classified Listings for 2020 Reply #249 – November 03, 2020, 05:08:54 pm Listed on Craigslist in Woodland Hills, CA (LA County)https://losangeles.craigslist.org/sfv/rvs/d/woodland-hills-lazy-daze-rv/7223832934.html2001 Lazy Daze Motorhome. Has 71,600 miles, engine runs strong and has no problem climbing steep grades. Just spent $2500 rebuilding the on board generator and now runs like brand new, apparently I wasn't running it enough. 7 new tires (including the spare). Added 2,000 watt sine wave inverter so you can plug in computers, etc that will run off the 2 brand new house batteries instead of having to run generator. Have always kept up servicing and have all records since purchased 7 years ago. Interior was updated with laminate floors, reupholstered couch, 2 captains chairs, and dinette. New upgraded stereo head unit and speakers. Rear view camera system included, but you will need to install. Airconditioner runs super cold, fridge works great as well. We have really babied this rig. Too many upgrades to list. Selling for $19,950 firm. Not my ad, I'm just posting it for the group.
