Since it is 120 in the bus, these 3 LD pets are stuck in the dog-room (in the house).  I'm watching TV and eating crackers. Bijel wants a cracker, but I'm not sharing.
So she gets up on the bed to see if begging from there is more effective than from the floor.
All of a sudden the TV audio goes out, so I start looking for the remote.
I finally figured out where it was.

"farm to table"

Cripes! That's like looking at my own Grandfather, he used to treat the barn cats the same way while sitting on a one-legged stool.   ;D

I found the photo on this facebook site.  It says it's from a California farm, circa 1954:

Have you ever been up north on HWY-1, between Faria and Hobson??
Faria and Hobson are definitely in Southern California and only an hour from home.
They are OK camps, tightly packed together but right on the beach. Reservations are a must.
They are in what is known as the 'Rincon'.
In my book, Southern California ends at Point Conception. Most sailors will agree with this.
Northern California starts in Monterey.

Just had to let my best friend go a couple days ago. Broke my old heart.

We lost Zelda the beginning of fall last year.  They leave a hole in ones Hart when they go away.  Sorry for your loss.

Very sorry for your loss. Our pets bring us so much joy during their short times with us.

Chris
Yeah Joy is the word. That dog made me smile 10,000 times in her 15 years with us. Her Joy of life just rubbed off on you. House seems really empty without her presence that's for sure.

Well it is that time of year again.  We will start decorating for Christmas soon.  Everyone gets into the act.  Some are a little more enthusiastic than others....

Fae our 2 year old on the 2019 Thanksgiving trip.  She wants to drive to the beach I think to meet that young German Shepard.

We have a few new faces on the forum and thought I would give those folks a chance to introduce any four legged friends.  I saw the alert about starting a new thread, but thought it better  to continue this thread.

Looking at Fae made me immediately think about Travels with Charlie by Steinbeck.  If any haven't read it, it is a classic not to be missed.

When, as a teenager, I rode the city bus all over town to reach my destinations. There was always a Driving School poster in the bus that showed a picture of a horse driving a car. The ad read: “We Taught A Horse To Drive...We Can Teach You”.

Some animals were meant to drive.

We added another four legged family member over the Covid lockdown.  Chewy, now 10 months old, went for his first RV trip and had Fae our three year old female poodle to show him the ropes.

like many young boys, he is in the drivers seat as much as possible.

and really, truly, he would never, not ever, take a sock and hide it.

Overall he is on board with this camping thingie.

Fae had a good time too.
