What model shows on your title for 23.5 Rear Lounge? July 29, 2020, 03:25:08 am So we finally became official owners of our first Lazy Daze. It's a used 1995 23.5 Rear Lounge. (Confirmed model based on lazy daze manufacturer sticker on RV)However on previous owner title it showed the model as being 22M, I'm assuming maybe having to do with how they may have financed it or something, and how on NADA site for 1995 there is no 23.5 model 1995 Lazy Daze Price, 1995 Lazy Daze Values & 1995 Lazy Daze Specs | NADAguidesSo if you own a 23.5 Rear Lounge, and have the title handy, let me know what it says on yours so that I make sure to correct it once I register for mine.
Re: What model shows on your title for 23.5 Rear Lounge? Reply #1 – July 29, 2020, 03:54:15 am Hi Major Tom; I've got a 1999 TK, on the Ford chassis. Is your 22M a Chevy chassis? In the rear lounge do you have the two barrel chairs on one side? That makes it a 'lounge'. Otherwise it has a 'slide out to the center' couch on both sides, which makes it a Twin King. The Ford has a longer snout so is a 23'- 4 1/2" length. About another 2" for the tire cover, which sticks out more than the rear bumper. (scars to prove it). Chevrolet had a shorter 'snout' so even with the same house part it was only 22 feet long. My California registration just calls it a 'housecar'. I've haven't seen the title for 20 years. (safe deposit box). (and with Covid, my bank branch is closed, with no access to the safe deposit box) RonB

Re: What model shows on your title for 23.5 Rear Lounge? Reply #9 – July 30, 2020, 11:49:27 am In Oregon motorhomes are taxed based on length. The most important thing as far as Oregon is concerned is how long not year or model. Our 23.5 TK is titled at 23. We save a bit of money under that observation from the State.glen

I don't remember the fee but I'm sure it was a bit more that $200. BTW part of your fee goes to fund the State Parks. Automobiles don't get to be part of the fun. glen
