Fender Skirt Nuts/Knobs June 23, 2020, 11:39:25 pm After searching the forum and finding a long ago thread.... seems these nuts are only available at the MotherShip.Anyone find the Fender Skirt Nuts anywhere else? I would like to replace all four of them since the plastic is getting brittle and it seems the bolt is trying to pop thru. Thanks!!Jodi

I put these Amazon knobs on my wishlist for future reference - Also thinking of ordering a new Shower Dome cover from the Mother Ship so if that happens soon might get the knobs from them too and bypass the Amazon order. I went to a hardware store and acquired some large nylon washers to go between the base of the knob and the side of the fender skirt so as not to mar the paint on the latter. As I recall I had to enlarge the hole a bit to allow the bolt to pass through.

The black knobs look fine, and they don't chip or peel. I would use them as they are and not try to paint them. YMMV, of course. 1 Likes
