Any "real world" feedback on the new 7.3L motor?
I'm wondering if anyone has read of motorhomes with the New Ford 7.3L and how they are holding up?

It's probably too early but just wondering.

AFAIF, few or no 2021 E450s have left the Factory. Any unknown problems will not surface for a year or two or longer. The engine has been in production for a while, used in Ford HD tricks.
I would anticipate a well designed and construted engine, this is Ford's workhorse for the next ten years, it already has millions of miles of testing.

I didn't realize it has been tested that much.
We are really getting serious about a new 27MB.

The OEMs spend millions test driving any new part or vehicle, it's cheaper to fix a design defect in the prototypes than to recall thousands of already sold vehicles for repair.
We often see camouflaged cars and trucks, test mules for the OEMs. We meet someone at an LD Caravan who test drove for VW, he racked up 50-60,000 miles a year, driving around the west, with Death Valley a major test area, no better place to test an vehicle's cooling and A/C.

AFAIF, few or no 2021 E450s have left the Factory

Our now under construction rear bath is on the new 2021 E-450 chassis. We are scheduled for deliver in Sept. or Oct.

Larry,
If you feel like a winter road trip, come to our place in Florida after the new year where you can do a full (over, under, around & through) inspection of our new RB. I have the indoor facility and full hookup RV pad for that. You are always welcome here. See pix.

Next time we are in Florida, we'll stop by for a full inspection, including, I hope, to see the rig while it's on your lift.
Nothing better than being able to walk under your rig for a thorough inspection.

Yes! I had an opportunity to do this twice from a "pit"; I was thrilled!  ;)  (Not saying where, as customers were not permitted in the work areas.)

Ask me and I'll say "It's the pitts!" During my 18 year employment with BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) I was in the pit every day, knocking my head on various and sundry obstacles. I think I've got a permanent crick in my neck from looking up all day long. I even managed to break two ribs when a wooden ladder slipped out from under me!  Pits are pits, I'll take vanilla.  ::)
