Sealing over windows....
Climbing around and inspecting the "dog haus" I discovered some cracking in the seals over windows....

Any ideas for a quick fix if necessary and a real solution.

There is no water intrusion that I can detect at this point in time.

Just a reminder of the Search function on the forum; hover over the little "house" icon on the upper left corner of the home page, click Search, then input keywords and other parameters, including posts by specific members. One might have to sift through posts to find relevant information, but on popular, often-repeated threads, there is a great deal of "how-to" available.

Jodi, I usually think of the "dog house (haus)" as the cover over the engine between the front seats. Are you describing the cabover? Trying to figure out where the photo was taken.

it's hard to tell what is being shown. It looks like the paint is cracked, cannot tell if the sealant is damaged.
A few photos, one showing the overall area and a couple of in-focus closeups would be helpful..

Sorry for the confusing initial post.

The Dog Haus is the official name of the RV.

I took the picture of the cracked area of the window when up on a ladder looking down and posted right away without searching the forum so i could keep working. The pic attached is the location. It is cracked over the window where the window frame meets the aluminum panel. I cant tell if it is paint or a sealer / caulk material that is cracked. Its a pretty thin line.

After reviewing the forum (thanks to Joan's suggestion), it looks like I could use a polyurethane sealant like - Loctite PL S40 Polyurethane or 3M Marine Adhesive Sealant 5200.

I called the LD factory yesterday to order some weather stripping for inside the storage bays. The tech I talked to (dont remember his name) said they are currently using / suggesting a Loctite Poly sealer product. I didnt get a specific product number from him but thinking it may be the PL S40. He said just to put a bead of it over the cracked area and smooth it out.

That gave me a good morning chuckle, Jodi. Thanks for the clarification.

Love that name Jodi!

I once owned a Holiday Rambler Travel Trailer which I christened with the name "Zigeuner Wagen". That got a lot of strange looks from German tourists.   :o   ;)

LOL! I imagine "gypsy" has a different connotation across the pond.  I like it!!

I thought Dog Haus was appropriate. Its probably where I will go when my S.O. cant deal with me anymore. haha!!

Just kidding - this is the real reason. Our traveling buddy.
