But walking by it, I'd guess that the rear end of the deck for the car lowers to ground level and the car's tire straps attached or detached and the car backed off or driven onto the deck. It looks like there are also lights at the end of the car deck.Art

Re: Unusual RV Reply #192 – October 18, 2020, 07:48:28 pm Using Lazy Daze's 100 watt panels as a guide, (20.5x 41) 1kw would be 82", (two panels end to end) by 102.5" (5 panels side by side). So a 7 foot wide roof, by 8 and a half foot length would do it. Easy if you have unencumbered roof, no vents, no 'walkway', no antennas, etc. It helps if you build the van with a large array of PV in mind. Expensive though, and the batteries and controllers, inverters too. RonB
