Armed Forces Travel
Many of us enjoy other types of travel beyond RVing. For those that are military Veteran’s, I just discovered this website which offers discounted travel through MWR (Morale, Welfare and Recreation). Previously only available to Active Duty, Retirees, etc., this benefit is being expanded to most service-connected disabled Veterans. You do have to enter some personal info to access the benefit and if you are not enrolled in DEERS, you may not be able to use it for now but they are working on the expanded access.

As a disabled Veteran I am constantly utilizing the services at my local VA Care Facility. In addition I receive monthly news letters from the VA concerning benefits. I believe what you're describing was mentioned in one of those recent publications.

Thank you for posting this website. I checked out some prices and it looks like there could be significant savings for travel!

Steve, I do get those newsletters e-mailed to me as well but guess I never noticed it before. We are heading to the PMRF Barking Sands beach cottages later this year and discovered the AFT link browsing their MWR website:
